Relief Donation of 16,000 kg of Rice and 2,000 kg of Iodized Salt
The management team of Homestate Co-operation Ltd and Wonnapob Company Ltd have generously contributed to the massive landslide relief efforts in Mulitaka, Enga Province.
In a small dignified ceremony organized by the company on Wednesday ,19th June 2024 at its Port Moresby Branch Office, Our Chairman, Mr. Paiboon Wetwattana (Tony) made the official presentation.
On hand to accept the relief donation from Homestate Co. Ltd was the Chairman of Kumul Consolidated Holdings (KCH), Mr. Moses Maladina. He steped in on behalf of the Enga Provincial Administration whose representative was unfortunately not able to make it due to time schedule clash.
The donation consists of:
- 16,000 kg of rice (Jasmine Rice and Star Rice)
- 2,000 kg of iodized salt
A Total value of over K81,400.00
This support aims to provide essential relief to the affected people in Mulitaka, Enga Province and assist towards the co-ordinated recovery efforts to bring normalcy back to the lives of the disaster affected people/community.
Homestate, as a national company and I being a grateful citizen of PNG, my management, employees, my family and me, we are all deeply saddened for the loss of properties, valuables and importantly, lives of our friends and family in Mulitaka, Enga.' said Mr Wetwattana during the presentation of the donations to Mr Maladina.
