Jasmine Brown Rice Instruction
Stove
Put 1 cup of rice & 2 cups of water
Cover saucepan & simmer 20 minutes
Remove from heat. Let stand warm for 5 minutes until all water is absorbed
Cooker
Put 1 cup of rice & 2 cups of water
Switch on
Wait for 5 minutes after finish cooking

Microwave
Put 1 cup of rice & 2 cups of water specific container for cooking rice by microwave
Cover before put in the microwave
Cook for 10-20 minutes (refer to your microwave manual for instruction)

"Tofu-Vegetables Stir Fry"
Thai Recipe Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, finely chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) package tofu, drained and cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
  • 1 cup baby corn, drained and cut into pieces
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 cub of broccoli
Thai Food Preparations
  1. Heat oil over medium-high heat. Stir onions and cook for one minute. Stir in garlic and ginger, and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in tofu, and cook until golden brown
  2. Stir in carrots, bell pepper, broccoli, mushroom, and baby corn, cooking for 2 minutes then remove from heat.
  3. Add all seasonings and bring to a simmer, until the sauce is thickened. Serve with hot Good Brown Rice.
